I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. After spending over a decade in the automotive industry, I decided I wanted to switch gears and started to explore shifting into a different career (pun intended). I had learned how to help manage an automotive business while also prioritizing the needs of each client and vehicle that came in. I pursued the challenge to apply this unique skill set to a new industry.
After calling this city my home for my entire life, I knew I wanted to continue to help people and give back to my community. I was led to the doors of a family law firm. After spending the past four years working in administration management, I knew I found my path and wanted to dig deeper.
As a young child of divorced parents, I witnessed and experienced firsthand the difficult obstacles that a family can face during this life-altering period. I have seen domestic violence in the lives of my family and my friends, and I understand how this affects each member of the family - and our community.
My path then led me to joining Modern Legal as the Firm Administrator. This role allows me to do what I already love and expand those principles and skills to the firm as a whole. Often, I am the first point of contact for our clients who are oftentimes going through the same emotions, feelings, or situations that I have experienced personally and through my loved ones. I value helping our team serve our clients and our community in the best way possible - from that first phone call until your case is closed. At the end of the day, nothing is more rewarding than knowing I have helped someone get a little bit closer to finding their path.
